About
Ross Grove is the Liberal Councillor representing the West Ward of Holroyd City Council. He was elected in September 2008.

Community Involvement
Ross has lived in Greystanes all his life. He has firsthand experience of what our local facilities are like and believes we can do better.
Ross supports the community through his ongoing involvement with the Holroyd High School P&C, where he currently serves as president. He is also actively involved in Merrylands CBD Committee and the Canal Reserve Action Group.
A red-tape reformer
Ross Grove is committed to reforming the excessive red tape associated with local government. He advocates for a lean government which avoids making life difficult for local residents and businesses.
His current project is the reform of council’s Tree Management Order. When Ross discovered that Holroyd had one of the more severe TMOs in the state, he took the matter to council and kept raising over four meetings totalling six hours of debate until the council resolved to review the policy.

Holding the state government to account
For too long, Labor politicians have taken our votes in Western Sydney for granted. As a the only Liberal representative in his area, Ross does what he can to hold our elected officials to account.
Ross has actively fought against the state government’s plans to cut local bus routes, close the Merrylands Fire Station, and undermine the Canal Reserve.
He’s also willing to support their good initiatives, and is one of the only non-Labor supporters of the West Metro.
The West Ward
The West Ward includes Greystanes, Pemulwuy and Merrylands West.
