Wentworthville Young Liberals
The Wentworthville Young Liberals are the Liberal Party’s organisation for young people from 16 to 30 years of age.
As a Young Liberal, you revceive equal voting rights as any other ordinary branch member, plus access to extra opportunities such as leadership training and social events which are facilitated by the NSW Young Liberal Movement.
Locally, the Wentworthville Young Liberals are at the forefront of campaigning and branch leadership. In the last two state elections our members have been preselected as local Liberal candidates and campaign managers alike. Others have gone on to take up senior roles as advisors to Members of Parliament and political strategists in the NSW Liberal Party’s Campaign Unit.
The September 2008 local government elections saw branch members run as Liberal candidates across the Blacktown, Parramatta and Holroyd local government areas and were successful in electing both Scott Lloyd to Parramatta City Council and Ross Grove to Holroyd City Council.
If you’d like to get involved, please call Ross Grove on 0412897130.
